The French touch at the crossroads of European capitals: Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and London! Lille and the European Metropolis of Lille is proud of its festive traditions and its gastronomy.

Flemish, Burgundian and then Spanish before becoming finally French, Lille has an outstanding architectural wealth. The main meeting facilities: Lille Grand Palais, Resort Barrière Lille*****, la Cité des Echanges, Halls de la Filature are completed by 43 hotels with meeting rooms and the outstanding venues: La Chaufferie, Ferme des Templiers... In terms of accommodation, the European Metropolis of Lille offers more than 8 400 bedrooms, 50% located in 3, 4 and 5 star hotels and within a maximum walking distance of 5 - 10 minutes from the main Convention Centre: Lille Grand Palais.

As a young university city, Lille is outgoing and friendly, bustling with bars, as well as festivals and markets. The Flemish influence can be sampled in the regional cuisine served in the restaurants called: « estaminets » where you can taste the Carbonnade and Waterzoi… and drink the beers produced by the many locally-brewed beers.
