France and Paris respectively earned the 4th and 1st place in the 2016 ICCA rankings.

France climbed up one spot in the 2016 ICCA ranking on international association meetings, becoming the 4th top country ranked by number of meetings organized, with 545 association meetings hosted that year.

The top 10 countries of the country ranking remained the same as in 2015 with only a few shifts and Portugal joining the ranking at the 10th place with Canada.

France also performed well in the global city ranking with Paris earning the top spot once again, with 196 association meetings recognized by ICCA held in 2016, followed by Vienna and Barcelona.

This sector keeps growing worldwide with 12,212 association meetings organized globally in 2016, with 136 new meetings hosted that year.
